Sound designer, trumpeter & DJ is the other half of a large part of PuNTaL's live shows.
The project PuNTaL builds a dialogue between pre-recorded materials — field recordings, loops, half-finished songs, incidental music, or lyrics — and live improvisation through instruments and voice.
The visuals are also performed live, using recycled images and videos from previous or unrealized works, and evolving improvisationally during the performance.
Blending experimental electronics with some organic jazz-flamenco flavour, the show also carries a social and critical dimension, reflecting on what is left behind and reclaiming it through art.
This project has a strong collaborative intention, so we try to integrate different artists into each performance, making each session unique and unrepeatable where everything, even the unfinished, becomes creation.
